Application Requirements
- Teams must consist of a minimum of 2 and a maximum of 5 students to participate in the competition.
- Each team is required to have one adult advisor, preferably their teacher, aged 21 or older.
- While multiple advisors are allowed, only one can be included in the official team submission.
- Each student may participate in only one team and submit one research paper.
- Contact information, including email addresses, must be provided for all team members and the adult advisor.

Upon registration, each team must select one research track. Although they both focus on one SDG of the team’s choosing, the approach differs.
- Scientific Research: A data-driven, evidence-based approach to analyzing an SDG-related issue, using scientific methodologies and critical thinking.
- Policy & Social Impact: A research focus on social policies, governance, and community-based solutions to address an SDG challenge.

Teams must participate in weekly research workshops and check-ins to refine their papers and presentations.
- Research Paper Submission:
- Length: 2000-3000 words (excluding references)
- Format: Times New Roman, Size 12, Double-Spaced, PDF
- Citation Style: APA/MLA (as per workshop guidance)
- Plagiarism Check: All submissions will be screened using Turnitin. Any use of Artificial Intelligence or Plagiarism is forbidden entirely. If found, this will lead to the disqualification of the team.
- Pre-Recorded Presentation: Teams need to submit a recorded video presentation along with their research paper, to be reviewed by judges asynchronously, along with the research paper.
