It's a unique blend of a Traditional Illustration competition and an immersive bootcamp, all set within an arts retreat in the beautiful Kashmir. You'll get to hone your skills and compete with fellow artists.
We're looking for artwork created using techniques and mediums that have historical roots, such as (but not limited to) ink, watercolor, gouache, charcoal, pastels, and traditional painting methods. Digital art is not eligible for the competition aspect.
The primary language of instruction will be English.
Your competition artwork will be exhibited at the retreat and then returned to you. Feel free to use it in your portfolio, CV, and college applications!
We've invited experienced and renowned artists and instructors specializing in traditional illustration to lead the bootcamp. Their profiles will be shared on our website & social media closer to the date.
Yes, instructors will provide constructive feedback on your work during the sessions. There will also be opportunities for peer critique.
Yes, absolutely! Our instructors will provide regular feedback and guidance on your designs throughout the bootcamp. You'll also benefit from peer critiques.
Nope, no need to lug your supplies! Everything you'll need for the bootcamp will be provided for you at the retreat. We've got you covered!
